Great ambiance and hidden gem and my partner and I recently found! I would wait for a table rather than getting a seat at the bar

The restaurant its self is really cute. There's so much going on but it's really nice! The food was really good definitely better than I expected it to be! I judge a Mexican restaurant by their rice and beans first & they were very good! The sopes de birria came with cosume. The consume was a bit salty but the meat was good & well seasoned. The fried ice cream was good however the churro puffs were not. Literally bread with an excessive amount of sugar not worth it. The agua the pepino was really good & it comes in a giant cantarito so it was definitely worth the price! We came around 5pm at first it was fairly empty but when we left at around 7pm it was SO packed! Our waiter was very nice & checked on us as much as he was able to. By the time we left I could tell there were way too many people for the amount of waiters there was. Good music. A Mariachi played too. It also gets loud so prepare for that. Overall, would return.
